Privacy

Last updated: 3 October 2026

This page explains what personal data this website collects, why, and what your rights are. I keep it short and keep the data to the minimum.

Who is responsible

Alessio Tugnoli, Belgium. Contact: tugnolialessio@gmail.com.

What I collect and why

Newsletter. When you subscribe, I store your email address and, if you give it, your name. I use them only to send you new articles and, rarely, news about this site. The legal basis is your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link at the bottom of every email, or from your account page.

Your account. If you sign in, a cookie keeps you signed in. It's strictly necessary for the sign-in to work.

Visit statistics. The site counts visits in an aggregated, anonymous way, without cookies and without tracking you across sites.

I don't track whether you open newsletter emails or click their links. I don't use advertising cookies, and I never sell or share your data for marketing.

Who processes the data for me

The site and the newsletter run on Ghost(Pro), operated by the Ghost Foundation, which uses service providers to host the site and to send emails. They process the data only to provide the service, under data processing agreements.

How long I keep it

As long as you're subscribed. When you unsubscribe or ask me to delete your data, I delete it.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask me to access, correct, delete or export your data, to limit or stop its processing, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Write to tugnolialessio@gmail.com and I'll answer within one week.

If you think your data is not handled correctly, you can complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données), www.dataprotectionauthority.be.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes too. Important changes are announced in the newsletter.
